Well, back in Texas for a little while. I’ll be leaving again tomorrow, though. Back to Florida. With Mandy this time. I’ll be getting back in much earlier though, which’ll be nice.
Got some cool stuff for Xmas. Like the new iPod. Got that from Mandy. My parents bought me a set of Bose headphones that just rock. They go together like peas and carrots.
Been doing a lot of programming in C#. That’s a pretty cool little programming language. Now I’m trying to build a trainer for a game, but I’m not too sure if C# will be able to handle it. I may have to drag up some oldschool with c++. I don’t even remember how to really work with pointers, so it should be interesting trying to find and change values at specific memory addresses. We’ll see how it goes.
Later.
Well we got Justin married. He had a great time, I think. With only a few exceptions typical and general of many weddings. It was a beautiful cerimony and I think they had a lot of fun.
Mandy got to go, and we had a blast. We spent one day on the sea preparing for and later participating in the wedding; spent the following day in Cozumel, where I went deep-sea fishing (quite fun) and Mandy went shopping. She and I spent the next day reading on one of the lounge chairs around the pool deck where we actually saw dolphins swimming along side the ship. Wicked cool. We read there for four hours. It was amazing.
So Mandy’s getting me one of those new fangled video iPods for Christmas, and I’m soooo excited. I just can’t hide it. I’m about to lose control. And I think I like it. She’s so good to me.
Going to florida to spend xmas with the parents. Should be lots of fun. Mandy’s going to OK where her cousin just lost a baby. It’s a sad story that really shouldn’t be told here. Just pray for them this during this season, if that’s the sort of thing you do. I’ll be flying back to Midland on Sunday (yes, Christmas day) as I have to be at work the following Monday. Which means I’ll be spending Christmas night alone. Not excited about that. Perhaps Cap’n Morgan can keep me company…
Well, that’s all for tonight (though it’s early morning). See you kids next week!

It is FREEZING here. Think, like, 26. That was the HIGH on Wednesday. And it’s not much better right now. If that’s the case here near the end of autumn, how cold is winter going to be? Maybe a white Christmas? Interesting…
So I finally finished my work on that project for the Admin Center, and I’m really glad to be back up in Remarketing. Admin was fun, and all, but Remarketing’s kinda like home. Working on several new databases at the moment, and with each passing tool, I’m amazed by how much you can do with MS Access. It still blows me away that I’ve created data-driven applications that know when to upgrade themselves, where to download the upgrade from, and how to install that upgrade over themselves. It freakin’ rocks. One of these days, I’m going to create an Access site just so I can write all this crazy shit down somewhere.
Well, gotta get back to work. Hope everyone’s got a good holiday lined up!

Because I want one soooooo bad. I’m really tired, and I’ve got a datenight with Mandy. This calls for a famous 3 1/2 hour nap after work! To which I am greatly looking forward. Then I’ll take some NyQuil tonight and get 9-10 hours then. It’ll be nice.
Wow, I really can’t believe it’s already December. Seems like just yesterday when I was first making this site. Which reminds me, the Tao of Jace is almost TWO. That’s just plain crazy. Plans for the future:
1. Go back to Brinkster when they finally get ASP.Net 2.0 up and running.
2. Somewhere between now and then design and build a new blog in said environment.
3. Hopefully get this thing set up on a SQL Server, because they’re just sooo damn cool.
4. And really fast.
Brinkster plans on upgrading in the next 30-60 days, which means if I ever get to work on all this, I’ve only got a month or so before I can post it. Maybe it’ll get done, maybe not.
Did anyone else realize that Microsoft is giving away some of the coolest stuff now? I love their free SQL server. It’s insanely fast and so easy to upgrade to from Access. Wicked cool stuff, go check it out.
Anyways, back to work.
