The Tao of Jace

So I’m being moved to a new department at work: Customer Tracking. Basically, the customer (a GMAC customer) calls in to complain that we’re charging too much on their lease returns. We say either, “no, we’re not, Stupid-Head”, or “Whoa! Our bad, lemme fix that for ya”. Not looking forward to it. Oh well.

So I’m headin south for my cousin’s graduation. She’s leavin’ her high school ways and will be joining us older ones soon. Leaving this afternoon, headed to Angleton, TX. Should be fun.

So, I’ve got a new programming interest: Ruby on Rails. Seems cool, but I haven’t gotten a chance to look into it too much. Maybe when I get back.

So Brinkster screwed me, and I think I’m gonna drop my account and get a refund. Pisses me off, cause I really liked them. Oh well. Know any good hosts? (I ask to the multitude who read this…)

So work’s letting me get paid for time off due to Jury Duty, which is cool. But I had to wake up early and go downtown and walk a long way to get to the courthouse only to find out that is highly likely that the suit will be settled out of court. So they wasted my time. Oh well, no more Jury Duty for 2 years. That’s cool.

So I’m going to Houston this weekend cause my cousin’s graduating. My first day off in forever. And then I get Monday off as a paid holiday, which will certainly rock.

Still working on my CMS, but not making a whole lot of progress. Oh well.

UPDATE: Jury was dismissed. No more Jury Duty!

…but since no one cares, apparently (as there are no comments); I probably should pretend to care. Oh well.

So I get paid tomorrow, which should be awesome. Except that Brinkster decided to bill me for a whole year and didn’t even bother to ask. So they’ll receive a nice fun email tonight. Also, Mandy’s buying a Mac. Yes, I’m converting her to the cult. And I’ll get you before too long.

So I’m still not happy with my CMS, and I’m working on building mine. Lots of fun, I know. And, when I’m done, I’m not too sure what the uses for the Tao of Jace will be anymore. I may make jace gregg.com a lot more professional, and therefore less stagnated with profanity. Which may lead me to making this my vent for excess anger dispositions. Oh well, no one reads it anyway.

So I’m not really liking work right now, but rumour has it that I’ll be moving soon so it shouldn’t be too bad. The new CMS is coming along fairly well, checkout my backpack for more info on the progress of it all. Hope everything’s great in your lives…
